Reading Your Portfolio
How to interpret the portfolio dashboard and spot what needs attention.
The Portfolio view gives you a single-screen summary of every active initiative across your organisation. Use it to quickly identify what is on track, what is drifting, and where you need to act.
- 1
Open Portfolio view
Click Portfolio in the left sidebar. Initiatives display as cards by default. Switch to list view using the toggle in the top-right corner if you prefer a tabular layout.
- 2
Check the RAG status dots
Each initiative card shows a Green, Amber, or Red status dot. Green means delivery is on track. Amber means there is a condition worth monitoring. Red means a problem needs attention. Hover over any dot to see a tooltip explaining the current status.
- 3
Sort by signal count or budget variance
Use the Sort dropdown to reorder initiatives by signal count (most signals first) or budget variance (largest overspend first). Sorting this way pushes the initiatives most likely to need attention to the top of the list.
- 4
Use the filter bar
Narrow the view using the filter bar. Filter by pillar to see initiatives under a specific strategic pillar. Filter by theme, squad, or status to focus on a subset of your portfolio. Filters can be combined.
